Rebecca Flick has worked in family law and criminal law for over 10 years, having been admitted to practice following her studies in 2004. Rebecca also worked in the legal field prior to her admission.
Rebecca has a kind and friendly manner, with a no nonsense attitude to representing her clients and obtaining the highest of results.
During Rebecca’s time as a lawyer she has handled thousands of matters and appeared before the Family Court, Federal Circuit Court (previously known as Federal Magistrates Court), NSW Supreme Court, NSW District Court, NSW Local Court, Land and Environment Court and Industrial Relations Tribunal.
In addition to Rebecca’s vast knowledge in the areas of Family Law (including De facto Relationship Law and Child Support) and Criminal Law, she has had a variety of experience in Property Acquisitions including Native Title, Conveyancing, Property Law, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardians, Probate and Administration, Family Provisions, Liquor Licensing, Cost Applications, Local Government, Environmental and Planning Law.
Rebecca is well aware that separating from a spouse is difficult and stressful, and she is able to advise you throughout the process and achieve the best result for you. Whether achieving a result by consent or looking after all aspects of the matter in Court, regardless of any complexities which your matter may have, often being able to provide you with practical approaches to resolving your matter quickly and cost effectively.
Rebecca’s diligent attitude to achieving a high result for her clients is also proven in the manner in which she assists people in criminal matters, offering no judgment only assistance, advising you and representing you throughout the process. Rebecca has experience in the defending and prosecution of matters in the criminal jurisdiction.
Outside of work Rebecca regularly participates in community talks on various topics, particularly relating to Family Law, and offers her spare time to local community groups and schools. Being local to the area Rebecca takes pride in being able to assist those in the local community. Rebecca is also a member of BNI, a business networking group in Cessnock, which gives her the opportunity to maintain strong business connections in the community.
